Climate Physics

I came across this and wanted to share it with anyone wanting a course, or review, on climate physics. The University of Chicago has posted the lectures for Phy Sci 134, taught by Dr. David Archer. Some people may have heard of his book “Global Warming: Understanding the Forecast” . (I confess I haven't read it myself.) Here's the link to the index of lectures.

The intro can certainly be skipped since it talks about the class, lab sessions and such, but the lecture on Heat and Light starts to get interesting. If nothing else, you'll find out how much energy is in a Reese's Peanutbutter Cup. You never know when that info could be important.

Update - I just realized that the link above takes you to the lectures stored as mp4 files which won't play well on some systems. Here's the link to the same lectures on youtube.

I apologize for any confusion
