MattdWX Posted February 17, 2011 Share Posted February 17, 2011 Just a reminder the 36th Annual Northeastern Storm Conference is taking place 3/11-3/13 at the Inn at Taunton in Massachusetts. Please check out the Lyndon State College Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association Website: http://meteorology.lyndonstate.edu/ams/ Our speakers this year include: Ken Carey (Friday Night), Paul Kocin (Saturday Night), and Matthew Noyes (Sunday morning). As well a double sessions of talks all day Saturday and more talks Sunday morning until midday. Winter Weather is the focus this year and how appropriate considering the fun winter the country has experienced. There will also be vendors and other activities going on. PLEASE REGISTER ASAP and reserve a hotel room at the Taunton Inn ASAP (special rates for conference attendees). We will also take abstracts through 2/25 first come first serve, time blocks are running out. We will also take poster abstracts as well. There are 2 posters sessions on Saturday.
