Sure hope you're right Burrel2 but I still just don't see it. I'm pulling for you to be right and me wrong. I don't know that the temps aloft are quite cold enough to do the trick.

Burrel2 are you really buying this? I believe the warm bubble that often effects eastern Oconee County and western Pickens County will rear its ugly head for this event. I am in Walhalla, about 8 miles from Oconee Nuclear Station and the soundings are razor thin at best. I exppect a sloppy mess at best and plain rain at worst. Looking at the soundings the slightest tick up in temps may allow us to have some sleet mixed but that may be it

Burrell and Oconeexman, how do you feel about the dreaded warm nose that seems to get us with every storm. Seems to be showing it's ugly head again doesn't it? Western Oconee county and eastern Pickens county seem to be on the lower totals as usual with areas just to our east and west doing much better.

Not gonna work out for us western upstate folks. We have the heaviest rates and are struggling to get a switch over to frozen. By the time it switches over, if it does, we will be left with only token flakes that we get to see fall. That is unless you live in Mountain Rest, Sunset or Table Rock.
