We need to stop living and dying by each model run. A variety of solutions are on the table and it’s impossible to nail this far out . Long way to go before anybody reels anything in. 

Moved from Greensboro to Matthews last June. I’m literally directly on the screw line it appears. This is the only time I miss living there. I’m on pins and needles, and I’d be there for this one if it weren’t for a work party Saturday night

Something for everyone to keep in mind, in a setup like this with very marginal cold, timing and placement are the whole show; even more than usual when we have better cold air sources. Speed up or slow down one player, 50 miles here or there for placement,  or a couple mbs of pressure up or down will change the model outputs tremendously; even up till go time. I certainly wouldn't expect it, but it's very possible a nick here or tuck there could change our output back to a colder suppressed look; it wouldn't take a whole lot. Too early to be jumping ship, even though tempered expectations are wise.

Really hard to get too crazy about energy that hasn't even made landfall yet. I have my fingers crossed.

Don't we sometimes see a cutter come thru a couple days before a larger Miller B type storm? Are the two related?

I work for a trucking company and we run produce primarily (corn, squash zucchini, eggplant, cabbage etc.) Just starting to ramp up down there again for us. This is absolutely the worst possible time, and it's going to hurt a lot of us in the industry.

My girlfriends parents don't have power in Pittsboro. They evacuated Holden Beach.

Weather nerd here. It’s weird to be in awe of this storm and completely terrified of it as a property owner in the bullseyse. I have been priveledged to be passed down what I have and if it goes, the memories were well worth it. Thankful to not be fearing for anybody’s life. Goodnight all

I work for a trucking company out of Charlotte, and I can already forsee issues with relief efforts. Nobody knows where to set up preparations yet. 

My family has had a little cabin across from the ocean down at Holden Beach since 1975. It’s incredibly saddening to have to accept that it could be wiped off of the map in a couple of days

The AC unit for my apartment went down. I'm on the second level which is also the top level and it's 84 in here during the day. Luckily I'm at work all day but when I get home it takes forever to get cool down. It's been down over a week and they haven't done anything. I call they take my info and they say they will call back but they don't. It is getting beyond ridiculous. 

I got a cold 2 weeks ago, first time this winter being sick. It took 5 days to get better, one of those annoying coughing phlegmy chest colds. 3 Days later I picked up a head cold. After being sick for weeks I am done with winter. Bring on warmth, daylight savings, and golf. I got my fill. (Although I wouldn't complain about another system that drops some late winter token flakes)

You know it's bad when you come in here and see nothing in the mid/long for 3 hours
