  1. Does anybody know of a place where I can get archived maps of thermally forced height tendencies and vorticity forced height tendencies?
  2. Will any of you be attending the 2015 AMS conference in Phoenix, AZ? I will be presenting my poster on Hurricane Sandy there.
  3. Is there a website that you can go to, to see a consensus weather forecast: that is, an average of accuweather, the weather channel, weather bug, etc?
  4. Does anybody know of a weather website/app that has precipitation type radar extrapolated into the future? I know that there are The Ultimate Weather App ($0.99), DarkSky ($3.99), and Radar Scope ($9.99), but these do not seem to have what I am looking for.
  5. Introducing the new Ultimate Weather App. Unlike other apps, this app will use actual observations (not an electromagnetic beam) to show where precipitation is. This app will show users the location of all 5 precipitation types (rain, snow, sleet, freezing rain, and hail). Most other weather apps only show rain, snow, and “mix.” Some weather programs (like Radar Scope Pro and GrEARTH) charge $19.99 a month. The Ultimate Weather App only costs $9.99 as a one-time fee. Pay $9.99 once, and you’ll have the app forever.
  6. I would like to know where I can find a free online radar that shows the following precipitation types: freezing rain/ice pellets/hail/snow/rain. This radar must also have an archive. I am NOT looking for the typical rain/snow/mix radar.
  7. I would like to know where I can find an archive of GFS Extended Range MOS where I can simply type in the station ID ("KITH") and select a certain date and time.
