Great, more severe wx chances on Friday evening...I have a flight from RDU to Paris that if I miss due to severe storm cancelations, in January, I am going to personally destroy the world. 

There was a decent tornado in Panama City Beach Florida. Started off as a water spout, quite a lot of damage.

We briefly had pea sized hail in Durham/RTP! That was a good bit of wind too.

I figured I had the wrong Pfizer facility but wanted sure since there were reports from Morrisville, which is Kit Creek Rd. Glad it was such a minor event. I know people here were wishing for an EF5.

I just ventured into the MA forum / storm thread for the first time. What. A. Shitshow. I'm glad we have actual mods here. The MA forum is 90% spam, 10% tracking.

Same! I lived in New Jersey, right outside of Philadelphia in 09-10. It. Was. Incredible!! Most snow I've ever seen. I think I remember getting 27" in the December 09 storm, and then another 23" or so in Feb 2010. Been chasing that high ever since hahaha

Midtown Raleigh. Maaaaybe 1.5" tops right now. We haven't really had any heavy snow bands, just a steady moderate snow. Which I'll take

Sorry to hear that for Greenville. If it makes you feel any better, here in Raleigh (IMBY) we are no more than 1.5". We haven't had any real heavy snows just a steady moderate

Beautiful rates in North Hills. That being said I would be surprised if we end up with more than 3". I'll be going for a whiskey-laden walk around me hood in an hour or so to take some pics and take in the smell/feel

As the crow flies, I'm 10 miles SSE of RDU airport, and already seeing a dusting and light snow showers...hopefully the gradient isn't THAT sharp. 

I am thrilled that we got a "head start" with this band streaking through Raleigh. I wasn't expecting to see much until 5:30ish, but there's already a dusting on roofs, cars, etc.
