    Fingers crossed. I hear you on the "undersized." The electric doohickey we have at my house gets referred to as the "flake flicker." Anything over 6" grinds it to a halt.

    It's so weird. I'm on the other side of the bay from you and it's light powder. Vinny from Cranston has a similar observation. This is how people get in arguments years later about what the storm was like, lol.

    In my area, about 10 minutes south of Providence, it's almost all powder. I have major health problems and was able to shovel a path to my car. Started out super wet last night but somehow ended up light. It's not just "not heavy," it's light. Can't make a snowball. Sorry to hear the people have cement-like snow.

    Just in case anyone is compulsively in need, like me, of the "official" notation. Reminder: PVD airport a.k.a. KPVD is not in Providence or Providence County.

    Looks like E Providence got 8.1 inches in 15 minutes. That's more than 32 inches per hour. Rippin? (sorry for the sarcasm)

    OK. That's Warwick, even though it's "PVD" or "KPVD" by code. Providence will be a little lower amount at the moment. Still amazing. I can't find the website for it but will get there. Only found this: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kpvd That would be 37" on the ground in Warwick. I believe 5" was already there.

    How reliable are these? I'm near Pawtuxet Village (Cranston) and not sure we're in that 23.5" territory.
