How do you embed a youtube video into your post. Every time I try to do it, it just shows up as a link to the video?

Huh, just went out to shovel and it just doesn’t seem like we have that much in Brookline, maybe 6 inches. Impressive wind, though.

Just woke up here in Brookline. Definitely an odd look with some parts of the driveway/lawn covered and others completely bare. Not really tied to an outcome, it’s just nice to see some snow falling and I’m excited to explore in it later in the day.

It sounds pretty wild outside right now in Brookline. Still have power, but have to imagine when the sun comes up there will be at least some branches down.

Does it look like it gets much of New England or just the southern part?
Yes

Haven’t gone out to measure how much we have in Brookline but looks like around 6”

Light snow in Brighton right now. My guess for this storm is 9”, mostly because I don’t want to have to shovel more than that. So I’m gonna, ya know, just will that into existence.

Was going to get up and shovel here in Brookline so I didn’t have to do it all at the end, but the wind looks like it’s really whipping and my bed is warm. It’s a beautiful sight out there, though.
District called a “snow day” which just means we’ll be teaching from home...

Sometimes I can't tell if ya'll are joking with each other or not. I certainly hope so, otherwise that would be embarrassing behavior from adults.

Just absolutely torrential rain here in Brookline for the past 10 minutes. Pea sized hail right now.

I'm sick of days below 70. So depressing and demoralizing.

Mother Nature deciding to snow in May during a global pandemic? Jeez, read the room

They’re building a new herb chambers dealership on comm ave in Allston. Huge pieces of construction debris blowing off the building into the road. Police were removing it as I drove by.

Just had a large tree branch come down in the road in Brighton.

NCEP should be reprimanded for making the gfs and nam. Like when parents create an ugly kid....don’t try again, it won’t improve.
What an awful analogy.

I'm guessing 15"-16" (maybe more?) here straddling the Brookline/Brighton line but just can't get a completely accurate measurement. We did pretty well at the end there despite like 5 hours of crap in the middle.
-
We've gotta be at 15" now at least

Best rates of the day right now as the light starts to fade away. I'll take it.

You can get old ones at the booksmith
Ha! I'll pick up one of those $5 chocolate bars while I'm at it.
It's definitely dumping right now, though. Can see it piling up on the shed out the back window, and I'd say we've cleared a foot at this point. It looks so pristine out there. Can't stop staring.

Call me a weenie, if you want but I think BOS will tack on close to a foot from that band. It’s tightening up and will have some epic rates associated with it... perfect timing too in terms of limiting ISR and BL impacts...
So....can I get one of those red meteo tags...

Definitely better rates now, though flake size continues to be small. I still feel good about my morning call of 13" here.

Took a walk about an hour ago in Brookine/Brighton. Don't think I would have had a very good time without the ski goggles. The wind was impressive.
