  1. Indeed it does. The previous second highest record was from Dec. 1947 at 26.7".
  2. EWR is reporting 27.1" now, a mere 0.7" shy of the record.
  3. Updates as of 1200: TEB - 31.7" EWR - 26.8" (1.0" from the record)
  4. I believe they have records back to 1853, but a number of years are missing so I wouldn't count on the daily data back then. Generally since the early 1930s it's been fairly consistent.
  5. EWR All-Time Records (as best I can tell):Jan. 1996 - 27.6"Dec. 1947 - 26.7"Feb. 2026 - 25.6" and counting as of 1100
  6. Some reports in talking to the airports: TEB - 29.8" as of 1000 EWR - 24.3"
