Snow winding down here. Measured exactly 3 inches on the car awhile ago. Our pig got a paint job and a new scarf over the summer, and we got him a duck to keep him company.

Started "sneeting" here awhile ago......

She is not a big fan of vacuum cleaning Jamaica it appears. Much happier vacuuming the ocean.

What are the water temps between Jamaica and Cuba? That will play a factor. If they are just as warm I would think it would have to strengthen some.

What is really weird is the fact that she sat in basically the same spot for days and still strengthened. Usually the upwelling of colder water will hinder strengthening to some extent. Evidently there was so much warmer water in this area it didn't happen?

Wow, is that the most perfectly symmetrical hurricane ever? Been following these for years and don't recall any that perfect. The way it meandered around in the same area, never weakened, and continued to strengthen is amazing. Takes perfect conditions for that to happen.

When the internet came of age and we all became weather forecasters, I figured that out pretty quickly. Yesterday the neighbor calls and tells wife about the Tornado watch and the warnings.....She's is fretting over it. I said don't worry hun, it will be light showers till it gets here..... She is slowly starting to come around to my way if thinking.

A couple claps of thunder, wind and some heavy rain here.....See, even the severe spring events are meh for me. I have always said if you like boring weather, Bedford Co. is the place to be.

6 days from now its supposed to be 73 degrees here IMBY. I think I will hold the snow blower summerization ceremony next week and forget another meh winter in Bedford Co.

That about sums up the 24-25 winter for me. Save for the one surprise I got a month ago the good stuff was North South East and West of me. Like that pretty much every year now it seems. Always next year.

After today, Accuweather doesn't have a single day below freezing for me from here on out. Temps into 40s and 50s most of March and 60s to start April. When the wind is not blowing, I think I can I hear that Willie Nelson song starting to play off in the distance.

Wow wife wouldn't have any of that lol. We keep our house at 68 pretty much 24-7. I guess you might get used to 60, but that is too cold for us as we get older. We have burned at least 300 gallons this year so far for a 3000 sq. ft. house. I love the winter, but hate trying to stay warm and paying for heat.
