  1. Thanks... this graphic also has advisories further up the Chesapeake as well....and the Red over VAB as small as it looks, covers a million people.
  2. wondering if the extension of the hurricane warning is an update or a graphics issue - not seeing it in our local advisory.
  3. Hi- new to the forum but recent relocation from the Philly forum - for decades (Wright Weather) ... I'm sitting at the mouth of the Chesapeake in Virginia Beach - 100 yards off the beach...Michael is exploding here after a boring day--- 40 mph + and sideways rain just now ... windows blew open.... power in and out, transformers going...amazing storm on exit
  4. Looks to be 3 inches plus in short order in western Chesco / Oxford area. Several streams well out of there banks on the ride home this evening. Update - and then it really rained - 5 inch blotches here on nws radar, flood warnings out.
  5. Nice burst of graupel and flakes... definately up from flurries to a trace...
  6. That Montco band is SN+ big flakes. 4 inches here, overachieve on stickage. Roads white. Cant believe it dropped all the way to 32 for the majority of the event.
  7. Just released... and on target. 28 degrees and powdery here, unexpected. 8. Was it PD I or II we had 24 hours of Virga meltdown. I ... I think....all I could think of today.
  9. finally light snow at 32/11... hopefully with that dp we drop below freezing for the duration
  10. Bright and sunny here after 7 flakes recorded last hour.
  11. Looks like we will hit the heaviest snow of the day just before shutting off like a light switch.
  12. Lull here now, sun is even trying to peek out, but staying light snow. Good sign. Next wave looks like the mother lode.
