Cell that ran through Huntsville earlier is now over Henegar that looks like a massive tornado. Very high velos
-
can't believe they haven't extended the warning any further than they have
-
going to be nasty, storms only going to intensify after dark. Kind of a worst nightmare from a chaser perspective too.
-
not reporting any damage there in town, lifted apparently
-
PDS warned now. Velo scans are off the chart

SPC running late with the day 1

Town of Lehigh between two massive couplets and hail between 1.25" to 1.50"

news9 chaser just got hit by it, weak

Nice looking supercell NE of Wichita Falls. Starting to form a hook. Probably be tornado warned in the next 5-10 minutes I would bet.

initiation N and E of Wichita Falls. Looking at spotter net and there's a TON of chasers out there right now.

damn, i don't know how long it was on the ground but there was something big on the ground just now in Franklin County, FL.
edit: and another new circulation looks like it briefly put something on the ground too. Within maybe 5 minutes. That was crazy.

Latest SPC update:
Consideration was made to introduce a small HIGH risk, but still too much uncertainty in the exact corridor of highest risk since moisture is not yet in place and there is no surface boundary to focus on.

Likely tornado in Smyrna, TN at this time. 7 miles NW of my parents place.
.that's going to go right over the race track.

Large tornado on ground in SW GA. Big debris sig.

I've chased in this area before, you are limited with bridges to get across the catawba river. Once you get on the other side the road network isn't great and there are a ton of trees everywhere.

Cell near Chester, SC is starting to look better. Riding a boundary and getting the evening LLJ increase, wouldn't be surprised if it's tornado warned in a bit.
-
quite a few lowerings when the first cell went through. Third one is riding a boundary, probably the most impressive of the 3.

Big winds overnight/morning hours for central NC.
Widespread and frequent wind gusts between 35 and 50 mph are likely late tonight through midday to early afternoon Monday; and these will impact all of cntl NC both within and away from convection/ precipitation. Scattered to numerous gusts between 50-60 mph are also expected, with isolated ones in excess of 60 mph; and this may necessitate upgrade to a High Wind Warning. While not as widespread as the background flow and gusts noted above, convection will focus narrow corridors of intense, damaging wind gusts in excess of hurricane force (74 mph), as well as isolated tornadoes - one or two of which could be significant (EF2 or greater).
It's been howling all evening here.
