It really just started to freeze up in the last hour or so. Fortunately the roads seem OK, but the salt trucks are out now. Should be an interesting drive back up to Ossining.

Starting to see a little bit of icing on branches and metal surfaces in Yonkers.

Still hovering around 31° in Ossining and assuming that some icing has commenced by now. Meanwhile at work in Yonkers nothing but plain rain.

31° here, salters are out in Ossining. No icing yet which is not surprising given the warm weather in the last 48 hours. But it should start up soon at least on elevated surfaces.

Down to 35° here in Ossining.

The temperature here has been holding steady at 41° all night, while just to the south in White Plains it is up to 46°. Will be a real close call for my area on whether or not we get into the significant icing.

Nice picture.  Down here in W Windsor NJ, it was nice to see flakes fly, but NADA, as far as any snow sticking.  Not even on the trees.  Enjoy your pittance, up there, since it's more than most of us got, I'll warrant.

Hopefully we can get another storm or two this winter that the whole area cashes in on.
