WSW upgraded from 7-10 to 8-13. Thinking we could get to double digits here as we’re just over 7”
Where are you located?

Temp down to 37 DP dropped to 29. Definitely did not get as warm as it was supposed to today.

RAP was a southern outlier so that’s good

NYC is very likely fine, north of there? Not so much
Are you at your daily limit yet for posting???? Models more often then not over adjust when south rather than north.

Don't be surprised when the 00z runs end up even further South.
Most school districts around here have already called closings for tomorrow.
I understand what the forecast was showing but there was no need to pull the trigger this early.
In all fairness the last school closing the forecast was 2-4/3-6 so why wouldn’t they close this time. I understand your point.

Watching storms like this is like watching a college basketball game between two rivals. The whole game may be exciting, but it's always the last 2 minutes that decide it, and we're at like the 12 minute mark of the second half.
I do believe we see a tick back north for the 0z runs…. The new RAP ticked slightly north and the newest HRRR held serve

The south trend is making 12+ amounts anywhere unlikely. I think the high end is probably 8-10 for the jackpot area which would still be a really nice storm.
I never said anything about 12+…. 6-12 in the JP zone which will be 30 miles north and south of NYC

Yea I'm still not overly worried about surpression especially for anyone SE of Orange county but can't say it's not at least a possibility.
Yeah I think like I said before north of 84 is iffy right now 2-4/3-6…. But Northern Westchester/Putnam south will be just fine here. Biggest of the year
