This PWS on Bayshore in Sarasota is reporting 91 sustained and 121 gusts now.  Might be on a high rise, but still.

It is really something.  It just astounds me that this was almost 200 miles south of landfall.  Just an enormous damage path for this thing.

If you see those palm canopies in the background, those are the tables that are by the pool, so the sand is filled in the area and about 4' above the base of the pool.

Yep.  Totally covered and filled in.  Looks like about 8-10' surge.  They've had water get close to the pool, but never this much sand.  I can't even comprehend how you fix that.

Got some pics sent from my mom's condo in Sarasota - Lido Key area.  This is about 200 miles south of landfall.  The pick of the fence is the gate to the beach.  That fence is usually about 10 feet above the ground.  The other is of a guy standing where the pool is (or in this case, was).  Unbelievable.

LOL - this couldn't come in February?

Heading up to Burlington VT as early as possible in the AM.  Expecting traffic to be a problem.

Exactly.  Example:  That windstorm we had two days before Christmas Eve this year dropped a tree on my car - $16K of damage.  Was my only claim in 15 years of being with Progressive and they dropped me immediately after that.  They did pay up, but gave me a notice of non-renewal and my renewal date was in 30 days.

Snow starting to pound in Lexington now.  Glad I have the webcam to keep track and hope the kids take care of the driveway (yeah, right).

Working in Boston today, but looks like it flipped to snow in Lexington a few mins ago.  Starting to accumulate on grass.  Roads/driveway bare.

Anybody see the GFS snowfall map for cali over the next 360?  Omg

Haven't gone to measure in a bit - was 8" an hour or so ago, but temp has dropped 3 degrees in 1 hour - now 22.5.  Heavy Snow

Yup.  I'm right on 128/rt 2 point.  So close but it's not going to do it.  Oh well.  Get some, miss some.

Watching that death band hoping it gets out to 128.  Just doesn't seem like it wants to.  Sooo close.  Like 5 miles.  Come on baby!

Measured about 6-7" in different areas so far.  Seems like we just getting into the outskirts of that death band here.  Just another 5-8 miles west please.

My guess is one says expected snowfall and one says event snowfall. Maybe the expected means from here on out?  IDK?
