Thanks for pointing that out. Always appreciate your insight to this area.
No worries. The 32F line dances all around the area. It'd likely end as sleet/snow. Over in Myrtle Beach it could get a bit worse with moisture coming back in after the transfer.
Either way, it is 1 run of a control of the Euro. Too early to speak much of it honestly.

See that stripe of light light snow south of say Chester SC? In that thin band, I believe the control has quite a little ice storm down to about southern Lexington, middle of Richland County and towards Myrtle Beach.

Reading in the other post that northern sc has some potential and didn't want to post a banter post there. When people reference northern sc I'm assuming they mean upstate north west and not coastal north east. Is that correct? and would the Myrtle beach area be in the game for any of these scenarios? If the coastal areas are just flat out of luck, may drive to Columbia and snag a hotel
I can say that the EPS mean had some snowfall into KMYR if that helps. Usually if I see a Wintry storm over your way I'd call it coastal sc

16 members say what snow for NC and SC outside of the mountains.
That's not bad considering how many members the EPS has. 50/51 or so.

He's on another board. I also just registered and am posting on that board.People were way too fast to run away webber on this board, lots of insight and he's going to be one of the most recognized distinguished mets of his time - that's a fact. I can't imagine where he will end up in 20 years...probably some climate forecaster with a million twitter followers. Ha.
^this.
People try to read his stuff and get confused I guess. you can learn a lot from his stuff if you combine his text with google though. Instead of saying "no snow" he actually uses science on why.

Ok, all in now! My local TWC forecast has wintry mix for Sat and Sun, the 7 and 8th, with lows of 28!! Sounds like a winner!
Rofl, they have rain/snow showers on Sat and ice on Monday in the same time down here. What a fail.

It takes some thick skin and changing of your IP address from time to time.
Hah i learned the political fighting isn't for me. It seemed cool to try at face value.. but I'd rather spend time being happy and not mad.

All it took was for you to join PR. Welcome over there btw.
Haha I don't think I'll be logging back in anytime soon. The hive is after me.

You may want to also add the idea of what "540", "5400" thickness also. A lot of newbies get confused between 0C @ 850 and 540 thicknesses. Maybe link the thickness profile image to explain it better? The one with the R/Sn/Mix/ etc broken down.

I like how you blacked out that dudes tats, there! Haha!
They could be used for identification purposes! I'd be po'ed if I logged on the net and saw my picture on some weather nerd forum. Haha, j/k.

Yeah icy into southern/central sc & ga on the initial burst. pops a low off sc coast and nails at least the West half of NC and chunk of VA pretty good with icy/mixing.
I'll pass for my area!
