  1. Also, I don't believe DC, Baltimore and northern Virginia received at least 4 inches of snow
  2. The band over the city seems to be drying up.
  3. Think it’s now dumping at about 2 inches per hour in northwest Queens .
  4. Yup. Snow rates kicking back up in Astoria
  5. The western band seems to be parked just over Newark, Jersey City and Hackensack hugging the west side of the Hudson. Need it to push about 5 miles east over the city.
  6. It looks like that on radar, but here in the city visibility is actually increasing and its mostly light snow, for now
  7. Central Park, JFK and LGA all at 15 inches -- https://x.com/NWSNewYorkNY/status/2025910279616311458?s=20
  8. I just measured 10 inches in several places in Astoria Queens. That seems to line up with these totals from NYEMG -- https://x.com/nycemergencymgt/status/2025899208255909995?s=20 It seems parts of the city have not received as much snow as other areas. And its kind of letting up at the moment.
  9. Yea, I think. I had 6 inches at 11:30 p.m. So 8 now would be only two more inches falling overnight. I think the wind has blown some the snow off the patio.
  10. I only measured 8 inches on balcony in in Astoria Queens, but that seems low and feels closer to a foot outside. There are also 2 to 3 foot drifts developing on some sidewalks.
  11. What time do you think peak snowfall rates will occurin NYC metro? 3 am?
  12. Just about 5 in Astoria Queens. I think one-inch in the past 30 minutes.
  13. 4 inches in Astoria Queens. One inch in the past hour.
  14. 1.5 inches just measured in Astoria Queens. Snow falling at about 3/4 inch per hour.
