Got a dusting in Asheville. Never seen april snow before,. It's snowing still at 42F. 

0z hrrr is worse for AVL. Thank goodness this wasn't on my radar until yesterday. haha Will still be happy to see some flakes in March if it  happens though.

This reminds me of the first overrunning event we had this winter. complete surprise and ended up with several inches. 

NAM's running pretty cool compared to verification for E TN and W NC elevated bust potential. Central TN doing better. 

Balmy 66 here in Asheville. i'm spraying the  weeds and cutting the lawn and seeing dogwoods flower. Wild.

I think this is plausible. with a few more ticks SE the foothills and piedmont might get in the game.

The polar jet is breaking records this year and with La Nina weakening the subtropical jet I guess the cool and dry forecasts panned out, but was still nice to see snow at least though. 

18z GFS coming in flat. I am forgetting this "event" now. Maybe i'll be surprised by a flizzard.
