What's wrong with ORD? It was the only major reporting site in the Chicago metro area that didn't hit 70 today. Actually, many locations hit 71 and even 72... then there's ORD stuck at 69. Pretty obvious there's an issue with the sensor, but whatever. Would probably also explain its lack of 90+ days this year compared to other places.

Not a big fan of either tbh, but I'd take snow over bitter cold if I had to choose between the two.

Doesn't change the fact that last spring was quite warm for most of the sub forum, including Ohio. Also, can I say last summer lasted until November since we had temps near 80 in early-mid November? If you may recall, last November was very warm.

Long range looks pretty warm, especially as you go west. Nothing super crazy, but above average for sure. The EURO did bad with this week's system, tracking it too far west for days. GFS did a much better job from what I can tell

I hope the CPC has the right idea here, as below normal temps are repulsive. would love to see some record breaking warmth and sunshine at some point in Oct.
