How did you do in 96 2003 2016?
I was there in 2003. When Fairfax got 30" of snow, Charlottesville got 9" of graupel. And I'm still not over it.

My colleague in the Fairfax Station area says the plows can’t get into his neighborhood because of downed trees.
I'm in Fairfax Station (off Clifton Road) and haven't seen a plow yet. That may be why.

I've already seen more snow from this event than I did from the Thursday event.
30.9/25.5 SN. Smallish flakes, but a few bigger ones mixed in.
-
Looks like the GFS was right the other day. This event really is going all the way to Friday morning.
-
28/26 with SN- right now. These are the first actual falling flakes I have seen in this "storm." Looks like they should last about 20 minutes.

Reminder that no one here is actually responsible for your lack of snow.

Are afternoon bands or a 3rd wave still in the cards? If so, coming from where? http://synoptic.envsci.rutgers.edu/site/radimg/anim_nrc.gif
Just now, clskinsfan said:Down to light snow/sleet mix here. Just about done with the first batch. Great little storm. Bring on the afternoon bands.
