    Please help me understand something about NOAA's wind speed probabilities projection. Right now at 1700 CDT Noah is projecting Laura to make landfall in western LA as a catagory 2 hurricane. Why then is the wind speed probability chart only show a 50% probability of hurricane force winds in the next 5 days ??
