In examining pro mets long range forecasts there seems to be none close to JB in using analogs of past weather patterns to forecast future weather. example is that most mets are saying that if giant PV over AK and the Yukon does not move we will continue warm in the east but JB is using 1950 as being almost identical to 2011 As you know 1950 was the Great Appalachian snowstorm What say you?
