Yall think I live in a great spot for snow? On the mountain next to mine, LESS THAN A MILE AWAY, it's even better apparently. I went to the top at 5500' yesterday and there was right at 4". But he got 9+ at 4500'. Oooookay.
I don't know what he's measuring, but if he has just under 10" of snow, I'll eat a car battery.

Woke up to sunshine pouring through my window and knew it was over. Looking forward to my 10 minutes of flurries later

March 2009.. I had 8-10" in my forecast down in Lexington, SC. And we got a dry slot and 0". Not even a dusting.
Here's hoping the whole board gets something white on the ground!

That one stung. I lived in Irmo at the time. First time I was old enough to do any kind of tracking and the disappointment when I woke up was immeasurable. The day off from school was nice though

Tomorrow is the anniversary of the great southeastern snowstorm of 1973. That was another extremely low snow winter at BWI (I think 2nd worst on record?) Would be fitting that we get missed to the south again around the same time of year

Crazy mix now in Columbia. Snow, graupel, and rain.
eta…temp dropped from 42 to 38 in 2-3 mins and dropping still.
I live in Dorsey’s search and haven’t seen anything other than heavy rain. A friend in long reach did send me this:

Wish I had gotten something with the iridescent clouds but I’m pretty happy with these pics of tonight’s storm

This band along I-70 looks pretty good for a chance at a dusting

A few flurries in Columbia. That makes it three days in a row with snow here.

^ Someone suggested a landspout, which seems to fit better with what I see here than a standard Tornado. There does seem to be notable rotation on the ground
