Same to you--
well I know people who have it, and that's typical behavior. It was an observation, nothing more. What was way worse was making derogatory comments about Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder, don't you think? The guy is a total ass and it's time to call him out on it-- don't be defending him, you just promote his behavior more.
So go cry me a river for being "dickish" to him-- he deserves a hell of a lot worse than that.
"R" has nothing to do with autism. The dude is a smart dude, he clearly has issues with people and trolls people and makes tonedeaf near-racist digs (or did you fail to notice he made a derogatory comment using two accomplished BLACK MEN?) This has nothing to with "R" and everything to do with his behavior for multiple years across multiple forums.
He's a 5 posted guy who spends his entire day giving out 100s of weenies to everyone else and for what-- liking snow? So get your facts straight before you open your mouth, until then, stand down.
We're not reading all that. We're happy for you, though, or sorry that happened.

Come on guys. The truth is no one is interested in the parts of CT in which you each reside

Gotta admire the dedication of the troll at least. Day after day, year after year… never breaks character.
Not to speak for all the warministas, but I genuinely enjoy winter torches. I'm down for a good snowstorm here and there, but winter as a whole is a tough slog.

Let’s get this CAA cranking out of the SW in SNE and flip back to snow with ULL. Looks like maybe mid afternoon to early evening for another .5-1”

It's pretty fun, too. I'm looking forward to tickling 45 degrees here in the CT river valley on Monday morning.

Don't forget the increasing sun angle
The phrase "sun angle" warms my heart. If only I could wish it into effect.

I agree with the other posts. Some closings may really be more about Covid and giving staff and students a three-day break from close contact.
My local school district put out a memo stating that they were operating on an "hour to hour basis" based on COVID-related staffing issues. I would guess they're quite relieved to have a Friday snow day.

Link to your source?

I spend the majority of my time WFH, but on the staggered days I need to be in the office, we require an order from the governor to stay home for weather.

75% of people now either work from home full time or 3-4 days a week .
Source? I've seen 45% in recent months, which means a significant number of people are still being impacted by a storm like this.

I'm liking the vibe in here tonight. Is it too early to start referencing sun angle?

At this point may as well shoot for warmest Oct on record and record late leaf changes. If such a thing is tracked
Loving how green the leaves and lawns are at this point in the fall. We track.
