Can I honestly ask you something? If you want so badly to be taken more seriously and have the 5PPD removed, why is your presentation of data so one-sided? I understand that the past two winters have been biased warm with little snowfall, but in the past, you have simply dissapeared during severe bouts of winter weather. I have been trying to give you the benefit fo the doubt, but you make that difficult.
I’m just a lurker, but aren’t there a fair number of folks that only pop in with model depictions of severe?

Aren't 10:1 clown maps virtually useless in a storm like this? Idk why they're getting so much play here.

As late as yesterday I was thinking I’d have gone Jan 6 and well into Feb with deep pack encased with ice which would be able to withstand the ever increasing Feb sun angle . Now if I’m lucky , I’ll have an hour of sleet that might collect above the windshield wipers and grass with frozen snow banks that slowly rot in the mild afternoons next week. With no pack, winter to me is worthless. Especially in a not desirable pattern moving forward
Do you make something of value with this pack? Do you burrow in it and live in it as a second home? Grind it up for frozen margaritas? I am genuinely curious as often there is plenty of it around, and I haven’t figured out any uses or why to be enamored with it since I don’t live on a ski hill.

Big coyote ran by the front of my house this morning and then around back and into the woods. He appeared injured and was not using one of his rear legs much.
Had not seen any on my property in over ten years. This was a big oneGot four coyotes in our small timber in town. They will howl and yelp like crazy when an ambulance or another siren passes close by. By and large I have found them shy and only a threat to rabbits and turkeys.

I would love this here!
Mass tree damage and power outages are your thing, huh?
Plenty of folks in Iowa would have let you take it instead of them.

If you really want to geek out, we can discuss the mechanics of how salt melts ice.
Not so much mechanics... more thermodynamics.
