I hate to say it, but the data at my office is not favorable for us...especially the NOVA or DC area. Montgomery county still has a chance.

You can delete my post or ridicule me. But we have seen this before. This set up is ready to let us down. I hope not, but the models do not favor us.

Sure is. Can’t tell you how many times it’s raining at work in Hunt Valley but puking snow at home.
Puking fatties?

I find it interesting that the general tone of the comments is that this storm has already happened, and this or that model performed well and this or that model blew it. Sheesh, let it play out.

Yup. If I could create a Frankenstorm it would be that type snow and temps about 25.
I kept my expectations low, and enjoyed the fact it didn't start looking like a threat til later in the week. Just happy to get a few inches with nice rates.

What an awesome little snow storm!

Totally puking fatties with caved roads in Harco. So much thumping. Again, puking fatties. Everything has caved. Thump. Cave. Fatties. Puke.

Yeah nobody’s getting a foot. But up to 5-6” I guess is possible in the heaviest precip locations where it’s still cold enough.
Eternally the optimist!

Currently 30 and light rain here in central Harford County. NWS continues to reduce totals with every update.

The storm thread has become hard to follow. So is this second part not going to pan out for those North of Balt (below Mason Dixon) as well?
-
So far, not much to report from Forest Hill (north central Harco). 28 deg, dusting, pixie flakes.

puking snow. roads caved. All the buzzwords will be here tomorrow and I'll be around to witness it. I'm excited. I'm actually kinda serious. There's the off chance that we luck into a HUGE model error where every single model is 100% wrong. Right?
"Thump"

Hello all. Thanks for all your fantastic weather insight. I enjoy reading what you all have to say.
However, in following the threads this winter, I felt compelled to create an account to make a hypothesis as a user is sending this thread off the rails similarly to another user earlier in the year (both, unfortunately, apparently are located near me) I think snowlvr (buildthewall) is a reincarnation of a username based on the sandy thing next to the ocean.
That is all, thanks and look forward to reading your continued observations and forecasting.
