Where's here? You have no location...
Chadds Ford
. -
My flakes have turned into the size of pancakes for some reason...all snow, no sleet.
22F
Get ready for sleet. Same happened here before the changeover
. -
27F sleet/snow coming down pretty good in chadds ford. Have almost an inch
. -
Lol. Fat thumbs on my phone, it's 27F.
I mean the way temps were dropping last night it wasn’t totally unbelievable.
. -
Getting first few small flakes down here in Glen Mills area. 17F. Good luck everyone!
Man those temps really dropped. The low was supposed to be 26F
. -
Why do I feel like delco will be in the sleeting screw hole again? This winter has been brutal... the trends this year have really sucked for us down here while NW gets the highest totals.

Thanks so much...works great!!
I saved a shot of the Montgomery County delineation but this annoying site says it’s too large to upload for me to show it to you!

I'd like to see a close-up map for central Montco. I'm not sure which side of the line I'm on. I know a few miles either ways doesn't make a difference, just curious where my neighborhood is in relation. Lansdale itself is in the WAA, but I'm west of the borough over by NP High.
Get the wunderground app and you can have the warnings layer on the map to see where the warning and watches are exactly

NWS looks to be taking it pretty serious...

Awaiting snow maps but that might have 6” just west of the city, tombo says it’s .5, so might be 4-7” with ratios?

Can we please keep posting the model maps as I’m not advanced enough to do this on my own.
Can someone start by posting that gfs run.
Thank you so much.
CMC for the 12th
GFS for the 12th
Both are sour now but with the way all models have trended NW it’s early on this one

Umm coming up on 4" here in Media Delaware County my expectation was 5.2" so it's not too far off. Elevation is playing a role with this and the fact that temps are 33 now every hour here its been snowing.
Down in Ridley along the Delaware River I bet they haven less than you do out in Chester Heights.
Now with that said even here in Media paved surfaces are like 1.5-2" of snow but the grass area and old snow are at or just past 4" heavy band from Wilmington Delaware has Arrived and more coming up from the Southwest and west.
Think our totals here in the center of the County to about Newtown Square will likely fall 4-6" especially places like Newtown Square and Radnor highest elevations of Delaware County. Liken this to an early March storm where it was warm past two days with marginal temps at the surface. Banding also plays a huge role!
The snow has been mainly light here most of the morning. Footprints on my sidewalk from an hour ago are melted thru. Temp at 32
Radar looks like it’s building a little in the south. Maybe I get lucky with 3 or 4 inches

Maybe 1.5” so far in Chester heights. Roads aren’t even covered. Another bust down in delco...

Absolutely puking giant flakes in Chester heights. Maybe 1/2” on the ground
. -
This kind of reminds me of a storm back in March 18. Most areas got a sloppy 1-2 inches while a very small area got like 10 inches. I remember it very well because I was in Newtown Square and we had about 10 inches while down the road people only had 1-2 inches.

First call
wilmingto de(city) 10 inches
my house - 11 inches
oxford,pa - 7 inchrs
pauls house - 8 incjes

New hope, pa - 13
Being directly between Wilmington and Philly, I will take it!

Haven’t seen any snow maps for the RGEM or GFS. Guess that means they didn’t show much?

If this verifies it’s the storm that extreme de pa and snj deserve after the screw job we got with the last storm.

NAM 10:1 ratios likely overdone but waiting on rest of 12z.
Have a suspicion this will be a 3-6" event up here when all is said and done. Has that 'normal' winter weather event look for a change with no bells and whistles etc
I think the 3km NAM lines up with that thinking as well. Maybe a tad on the high end but definitely not the area wide 8-12”
. -
The storm on Tuesday is also trending more south
Gotta focus on the weekend storm and how that sets up once it moves out.
