  1. I'd like to see a close-up map for central Montco. I'm not sure which side of the line I'm on. I know a few miles either ways doesn't make a difference, just curious where my neighborhood is in relation. Lansdale itself is in the WAA, but I'm west of the borough over by NP High.

Get the wunderground app and you can have the warnings layer on the map to see where the warning and watches are exactly

  2. Can we please keep posting the model maps as I’m not advanced enough to do this on my own.
Can someone start by posting that gfs run.
    Thank you so much.

    GFS for the 12th
Both are sour now but with the way all models have trended NW it’s early on this one

  3. Umm coming up on 4" here in Media Delaware County my expectation was 5.2" so it's not too far off.  Elevation is playing a role with this and the fact that temps are 33 now every hour here its been snowing.

Down in Ridley along the Delaware River I bet they haven less than you do out in Chester Heights.

Now with that said even here in Media paved surfaces are like 1.5-2" of snow but the grass area and old snow are at or just past 4" heavy band from Wilmington Delaware has Arrived and more coming up from the Southwest and west.

Think our totals here in the center of the County to about Newtown Square will likely fall 4-6" especially places like Newtown Square and Radnor highest elevations of Delaware County.  Liken this to an early March storm where it was warm past two days with marginal temps at the surface. Banding also plays a huge role!

The snow has been mainly light here most of the morning. Footprints on my sidewalk from an hour ago are melted thru. Temp at 32
Radar looks like it’s building a little in the south. Maybe I get lucky with 3 or 4 inches

  4. This kind of reminds me of a storm back in March 18. Most areas got a sloppy 1-2 inches while a very small area got like 10 inches. I remember it very well because I was in Newtown Square and we had about 10 inches while down the road people only had 1-2 inches.

  5. NAM 10:1 ratios likely overdone but waiting on rest of 12z.
Have a suspicion this will be a 3-6" event up here when all is said and done. Has that 'normal' winter weather event look for a change with no bells and whistles etc

I think the 3km NAM lines up with that thinking as well. Maybe a tad on the high end but definitely not the area wide 8-12”
