Some good CAPE values and lifted indices east of the Chesapeake bay that are increasing. Wouldn't be surprised if they expand the slight risk and the MDT risk a little east

Looks like C.A.P.E almost gets shafted. Right on the edge of the slight risk.

A very stormy night with east-facing windows getting hammered with 40 or so MPH gusts. Trees swaying like crazy. 73/73 and 2.09'' of rain and counting.

Some convection and a tall cloud top down by the mouth of the Potomac river on the satellite. 1.69'' of rain and the temperature has rose from 69.6 to 73.4/73 humid

It could still snow early and El Nino would still follow. Anything is possible. I hope we get shellacked by snowstorm after snowstorm.

The weather channel is calling for a colder than normal October with troughiness in the east due to El Nino base-state. We'll see if it verifies...
