It snowed for about 20 minutes here in Oakmont around 11:00 am. Dry as a bone now. 

What I don't get from some of these models is that the low bops around Kentucky, to southern West Virginia, to Virginia, and then to Northeast Maryland. It doesn't seem to cut through PA like I saw earlier. So how much farther south did we need this thing? Should it have been bopping through Tennessee and North Carolina? 

Welp, the 3k NAM was worse yet, I believe. With any luck we'll be able to get 2-3". The tracking is so fun but boy is it a letdown when things fall apart!! It does make me feel better that the folks in the forum are right there with me though. Plus, I've learned so much from a bunch of you since joining. Thanks!!!

As a former Marylander (Annapolis) who has been in PGH for about 3 years now, it's goes both ways. My family back home was so jealous of the dustings we got in November and December. But now I'm jealous as they wait for 5-8" right now and presumably another big one later on. It's nice that it snows more frequently here but I do miss the intense storms on the coast. I don't know what's better- dry spells with big storms or little dustings somewhat regularly. *Sigh* 

Just drove back in to Pittsburgh from Southpointe in Washington county. All of 79 that I was on was being pre-treated!
