This storm is looking familiar to Jan 30, 2010 here is a satellite image from that storm. May be the same cutoff with this upcoming storm

Looking better and better. The fact that it will be below 30 in some parts will help accumulate, shouldnt be losing a lot of flakes!

I am pleased that Route 37 has been paved recently. But, add some freezing rain to that fresh asphalt and it'll be a skating rink.
Maybe this Sunday the snow will accumulate better on it. Temps will be perhaps in the 20s so maybe a 15:1 ratio could be possible.

I legit washed my car yesterday too. And that road has gotten terrible with the potholes from the TR toll plaza southward the past two years
The potholes used to be really bad down on 72 in Manahawkin they recently paved them but it was like a dirt road.
I dont think local roads were brined because Dover rd was not and 37 wasn't either.

well the good news is we haven't seen any misses south besides that one a month ago. would be cruel irony for this one to do the same thing...
Hopefully we wont get stuck between the two swaths of snow like the Nam shows. Good thing it is not really reliable in this range.

Parkway in Toms River was heavily brined. Doubt it was needed. Hoping for some snow!

Was in NYC today very strong wind tunnel effect. Winds were blowing people almost to the ground had to be at least 50mph. Otherwise on my way home some light snow from the squalls!

Ended up with 2.26". Many puddles!
Anyways, at least all three main models have a signal for snow on the 4th. But, still far out its something to track though!
