So I guess we can expect 90s in September and October lol
-
Just ten degrees cooler and we might be snowing........
-
I have terrible windows however the heat is set to 68 and it runs everyday. The high minimums may be scuing the monthly departures on the warm end however it’s damn cold. Sweatshirts on everyday. And my phone is silent for AC calls, the usuals are calling but they just want on the schedule.

Boy that comes as a surprise. Normally I would miss it a bit, but this year it was so bad that I'm 100% ready for spring.
Give me 100s, Sun, Sand ,Ocean and days riding my bike, and nights sitting outside smoking a nice cigar............. AC season is closing in, my phone is already beginning to ring......

I went out for quick ride on my bike and as my luck would have it, it started to rain, so I had to high tail it home and the sun came out lol............

My digital weather station is showing 75 outdoor, not sure how accurate it is but it sure feels warm. We’re also getting some heavy wind gusts.

I can say I’m pretty much done with winter, don’t get me wrong I love a lot of snow and extreme cold, I’m a steam boiler guy my business depends on cold. But it also depends on AC in the summer. However I love summer more, I love extreme heat, I love July days 95-100 degrees with the sun out, with the daylight now extending my body is telling me it’s time to go outside but it’s still too cold. After St.Paddys day I am truly done and hoping we have some sort of spring this year. Also hoping to have a hot summer not a steamy one like the last 3 or 4 seem to have been. I have two Harley’s and they got cabin fever, I’m a fair weather rider so no rain or cold riding for me.

I’d say we got a good .5” on everything here in Port Reading. Snowing lightly
-
Port Reading 42 degrees and rain........ Cant win this year lol.
-
Ever time you guys say March was good remember it was good for you islanders and north, we on coastal Jersey got basically nothing, so our chances are really dwindling.
-
My neighbor is at his Caroga Lake cabin tonight he said it’s 9 degrees and they got 8-9” so far. Me here heavy rain all the way.
-
Raining heavy here now. Sounds like ice mixing in though.

this year is even worse than most of the 80's winters....I wonder what the record is for latest snowfall during met Winter (Dec-Jan-Feb)? most stations are at zero or trace for met winter....
One thing for sure I remember it being a lot colder during the 80s

This warmer weather is beating my busy time up this year. People just aren’t calling for heating issues. I was super busy from November to basically Christmas and now It’s gone quiet. I specialize in steam heating and hoping some cold will return. AC season doesn’t start for me for another 5 months.

Well I’m hoping Jan and Feb are good because after St Pats day I’m done with winter and want the warmth.
Outside of Jan 2016 we’ve been in a bit of a snow hole here in Port Reading.

My outdoor digital thermometer is saying 18 here in Port Reading

Only got down to 20 here in Port Reading currently 23....... Happy thanksgiving all. I’ll be cold frying the turkey later lol.
-
Stuck in downtown Newark definitely got 6” seems to be changing over sleet as of 5:15. Roads are just about gridlocked so I’ll be here for a bit longer.

Port Reading by Carteret, since 3:00 not much more then a couple of sprinkles and the radar supports that.
-
Here in Port Reading NJ at 6:00 temp was 76 with a 69 degree dew, wet bulb was 70.6

Have my own HVAC company and I’ve been busy this summer. Work out in the heat everyday almost, sometimes on black roofs. Funny I’ve also done three steam boilers this summer.......at least their not emergency’s in January

Same exact time we went last year, probably saw you lol. The weather was pretty bad, except for the night we got down there and the day we were leaving.
This time around we're still sticking with the last week of July, as that's our typical time. As for predictions, it's a little far out to accurately forecast the weather. But, like Stormlover said, I'd expect conditions to be a lot better. IMO that was a fluke last year, because most times we've gone down have been great.
Yeah this year we have about 4 families coming and staying at the same motel. We stay in Wildwood Crest at the ElCoronado.
Anyway thanks, I’m hoping the WAR returns :)

The current weather is killing me, I do like hot weather but that’s not even the kill it’s the lack of good weather to start any outdoor projects. Last year by this time I already had 1000 miles on my bike I have less then 100 this year because I don’t like to ride in rain or get caught in it for that matter. Cleaning is a nightmare.
We’ve had no BBQs yet. I’m sure September will be hot and beautiful though lmao.
Anyway anyone one want to predict how many 90 degree days we’ll see this month, I’m guessing maybe 1 if we’re lucky. Wasn’t 96 or 97 one of those summers where we only had 9 or 10 90s the whole summer?
