Well the warm patterns usually win in this climate.
But if this were November and I was looking for signs of the season ahead, I would say the core of the seasonal temps would be to our west and we would get shafted.
Of course its June and all of our summers are Humid and Hot as of late so it will arrive eventually.
But as I sit here with Montana-like summer temps on my back patio with all the windows open and no bugs…Im pretty happy with the current forecast.

Definitely with you on the bug situation.

Maybe no heat waves for the foreseeable future but I’m sure the high due points will be here eventually so it’ll feel like it’s hot.
On top of that I’m sure at some point this pattern is going to flip, I know we get stuck in stuck patterns but eventually it breaks down, maybe it’s too late but who knows. I’d be wanting it to break down soon instead of a heatwave in the fall.

First forced OT of the warm season, it definitely didn’t disappoint, got 6 no AC calls, one was frozen in a block of ice lol. My digital thermo was reading 94-95 in South Brunswick at 2PM. Am home now enjoying some cold beers.

I love heat however I’ll trade it for a dryer summer. Please I don’t want another 15-20” of rain JJA

This should be winter's last gasp. Looks like a more normal pattern temperature wise going forward. Maybe slightly cool along the coast, but this time of year that's still mild

I sure am hoping so, I’ve yet to remove some of the heating supplies from my van and move the AC equipment in. Hoping to start getting some AC calls and not all at once.

As of right now I would say a standard 3-6 inch snowfall for Suffolk county. Average.

At this point I now hope it’s a complete miss it’s my bday this weekend and we had quite a bit of people coming. If it’s not gonna be epic I don’t want anything then.

Honestly I miss Aprils that used have a 90 degree day or two, don’t think it’s happened in 10 years though.

Looking at 21 currently IMBY.

According to NWS Brick got between 5.0 and 5.3. Long Island is literally on an island of it’s own when it comes to snow the last 10 years.

Is there going to be mixing issues at the immediate coast, I’m in eastern ocean county about 5 mins from the ocean?

I am at the extreme north east end of Brick by Brielle and point pleasant and we don’t even have a flake yet.

I’m in Brick by the River Rock so I’m hoping the cutoff is further north….

One storm after the other has commenced here in Brick NJ. Was sunny Hot and completely clear an hour ago

Was in Wildwood from the 10th till today. Outside of not a drop of rain all week we only had clouds for a three hour period on Sunday the 11 from 12-3pm. Until Wednesday temps averaged around 79-81 with south eastern flow, made it feel a little cool on the beach then Thursday to today warmer around 85-88 with westerly to south westerly flow. Ocean averaged about 73-76 was almost walk in. One of the best weeks I’ve ever had there weather wise. Would’ve never known how bad the weather up here was had I not followed this site.
