Around 7-8 inches in Sloatsburg. Still coming down moderately. First time all winter where by the time I finished plowing with my ATV the driveway was covered again. Nice storm up here. -

-1 here in Sloatsburg in Rockland County -
Yup here in Sloatsburg where I’m up on a hilll with a little elevation before you get to Harriman State Park, I actually got all my snow from earlier in the day. About an inch or so. Afternoon and evening it turned to a mix and ended as wet flakes. So it’s a slushy glaze this morning. Got up to 35 degrees late yesterday and stayed there until things ended. I miss living in the snow belt off Lakes rd in Monroe! lol My parents up there got about 4 inches. Only a 15 min drive from here. But at least last March was great here with one of the storms producing about 30 inches. That’s weather for you. Hoping things can turn around in Feb/Mar this year but we will see.

Steady light snow now here in Sloatsburg. Maybe 1/4 inch on ground now. Hopefully when things get cranking we all get surprised. -

Should be interesting. NWS just upped totals for my area here in northern Rockland from 2-4 to 3-5 but who knows I’m right at the border of Orange County -

I have no power in my neighborhood so I abandoned ship to my parents in Monroe. I took 5 unofficial measurements at my place last night- all 24-27 inches. Whatever the real tally was let’s just say it was plenty lol Thats my car under there! -

Yeah I agree with you there- Nyack definitely has some great restaurants with some fun bars. I’ve been known to forget a credit card or two at some of those places lol Up here near me they recently opened an all you can eat sushi place over in Suffern- AJ’s Sushi is pretty good. I just can’t figure out how it’s a sushi/Cajun seafood place lol Odd mix -

76 House huh? I haven’t lived in Rockland for too long but my wife is from New City. I’m a big foodie so I’ll have to check it out. In the summer we like to hit Red Hat on Hudson- right across the bridge. Nice rooftop bar overlooking the river. -

Lol well I’m a newbie to Rockland. Just moved here to Sloatsburg about 3 yrs ago. That’s what happens when you fall in love with a beautiful girl whose 2 daughters want to stay in suffern schools. So here I am. Everyone here calls it the burg so I’m acclimating lol But I do miss the days of living in Monroe in the OC. The snows just aren’t the same here even though it’s 15 mins south of where I was in Monroe. Sigh -

Lol yeah well maybe it only fell “imby” as they say. I would have to check and see if my wife or girls ran the snowmaking machine first but I’m pretty sure this is what fell naturally. This was what we had by late afternoon. -

We ended up with about 4 inches here by me yesterday. The last few hours came down pretty good. Is this next one looking better for down my way or will we be dealing with marginal temps again? I see nws says it’s looking like more of a rain event right now except for N & W I’ve found that since I moved to Sloatsburg I’m not always n & w enough these days lol
