I live in Parkton and the snowblower is in the shed. Do I drag that sucker out tonight or what?
-
No idea- it was immediately evident upon exiting the house in northern balt county that visibility blew. It got no better at any point on my thunderdome drive downtown.
Same commute for me everyday. Parkton to Inner Harbor. I left at 6:45, so while still foggy it only took me 40 mins.- 1

Not terribly far. Exit 20 (Padonia Rd) off I-83. Ive talked with people only a few miles from me who have had next to nothing.
We are west of exit 31 at 800ft. Almost a different climate “up” here.- 1

Wow. Back to some of the largest-sized snowflakes I can ever remember seeing here (N. central Baltimore county). Still getting hit hard.

Nah, Owings Mills/Reisterstown is generally one of the better spots if not the best for the immediate closer burbs. I'm from that area. Lived there for 35 years. Pretty good elevation for only being 10-15 miles outside of the city. Some spots are over 700 ft. Always better to be above the northwest side of the beltway. There can be fairly dramatic differences depending on whether your closer to the beltway on reisterstown rd. or farther north toward the rt.140/30 split.
Parkton’s got you beat- 1

That storm was more like 8" in about 5 hours (where I'm at), but yeah it was pretty incredible!
This brings back bad memories. My normal 40 min commute home took over 5 hours. 83 north shutdown above Hunt Valley. Lucky for me I had prepared with a full tank of gas, drinks snacks and when i was finished drinking a port-a-potty- 2
