I live in Parkton and the snowblower is in the shed. Do I drag that sucker out tonight or what?

No idea- it was immediately evident upon exiting the house in northern balt county that visibility blew. It got no better at any point on my thunderdome drive downtown. 

I am just bathing in the cooling goodness of my first Hereford zone winter storm watch….

We got zero up here in Parkton. We had a couple of flakes very early in the morning. Not a flake since.

Went from nothing to heavy snow.

Parkton back to heavy snow.

Parkton 25 and full on sleet with an occasional flake.

Not terribly far. Exit 20 (Padonia Rd) off I-83. Ive talked with people only a few miles from me who have had next to nothing.

Wow. Back to some of the largest-sized snowflakes I can ever remember seeing here (N. central Baltimore county). Still getting hit hard.

Parkton. 4+ so far. roads caves hours ago.

Mixing with sleet now. 7 inches of snow before the change over.

Nah, Owings Mills/Reisterstown is generally one of the better spots if not the best for the immediate closer burbs. I'm from that area. Lived there for 35 years.  Pretty good elevation for only being 10-15 miles outside of the city. Some spots are over 700 ft. Always better to be above the northwest side of the beltway. There can be fairly dramatic differences depending on whether your closer to the beltway on reisterstown rd. or farther north toward the rt.140/30 split.

That storm was more like 8" in about 5 hours (where I'm at), but yeah it was pretty incredible!
