28.3” as of 7:30pm. Sparta NW NJ. More winds last few hours which may be affecting measurements at this point. With compaction snow depth sitting at about 24-25”.
Should hit 30", still a few hours to go. What's your temperature?
-
25" down. Should be an all-timer for NWNJ, might surpass 1996, hope that band doesn't move.

What's your temperature? Still got a long way to go with this one. It started pivoting in the perfect location.

That band is no joke. 2-4"/hr. Measured 21", there's soon to be 2 feet reports just to the south of me.

Yes it does. I suspect, but could be wrong, after it completes its pivot and settles into its new orientation it may end up a little to our NW. Time we tell.
Yeah, which is why I have the Poconos with 30"+. We'll see they usually end up to our NW.

And it’s a beautiful powder. 30” is not out of the question in our area as it stands now. We’ve avoided any sleet and the ratios have to be 12/1 or better I suspect.
Looks like the pivot is starting to occur too

19.9” as of 2pm. Sparta, NW NJ.
It is a whiteout out there. 3-5"/hr stuff. Once this pivot occurs this band will stall over us

Wow. You're close to me, but am not up to a foot yet.
Those heavier bands are coming up your way soon! I've been on the northern edge of the Hunterdon death band.

Middlesex to union seems the honey hole so far? Not sussex. I have to be well north of a foot already. Maybe nearing 15. Its just been dumpin big time!
30+ baby!
You will see later what he means.

Have surpassed 13" now. About 2-4 miles N of Sparta.
There is 14-16" in the poconos currently. That's without the heavy bands still to come through, someone will see 30"+ out there.

Most likely. Heavy snow falling here, and those heavy bands are not even here yet.
Yep! Just imagine when they get here ratios will be insane. 3-6"/hr stuff.

There's 28"+ from Hacks-Town through Stanhope through Newton. Watch the banding from yesterday.
