Cool site to see reported power outages. They currently report over 84,000 without power.

It is brutal out here. Impossible to measure as everyone has noted.. Hoping these bands can rotate a bit farther NW. Can see the ocean effect on radar a bit. I tried to get farther SE towards Plymouth but there was nothing available any where for a reasonable price.
Any posters from around where I am?
Hello neighbor! My house faces the north and I don't have to clean much off my car or walk way, yet. It's all getting blown away.

Will have Boston supermarket report in a bit.
At 6 am this morning the Shaws in Braintree had a line waiting to go in, when I left the store there was a news crew in the parking lot setting up.

Yeah I grew up in Georgia. Not used to many of these storms. It really makes me feel like a kid again.

Yes. Looks like a snow globe through the window here in Braintree.

Yeah! If Hawaii can do it, so can we!

The severe aspect of this storm system right now in the south is sobering.

Good morning all. New to this subforum. I moved to Boston in May from Georgia and live in the Cambridge area. I've only experienced a few storms over 4" in my life. Does the ocean temperatures effect every storm like this? Or is it only early in the season when the water is relatively warm?
