    They will get some.

River hasn't broken yet. Solid from bank to bank but I wont be going on it even with the big snow week coming up.

Trails are completely gone but the ground is still frozen. New snow will hold awhile, the fields are gonna get fun!

That’s how I feel. Honest to God it makes me want a condo in Naples and just never deal with 4 months of shit. It’s really difficult to endear months of shit weather with nothing to show. Never  did I think this winter would be worse than last.

    Naples Maine, you mean.

I may be making a county trip first week of march but is going to be contingent on if we see anymore snow up here, I'm watching this one because it looks like that will be it for me after this.

They're grooming it all and it's real cold but thin cover is hardening up as we've had no refreshment for a week+. Lotta broken springs from the hard chatter. Any new cover will make a world of diff for the trail riders.

For me, these are the best days to go fielding. So much area- fields bigger than Hartford. Field edges and the river are butter soft.

Field and stream- the best riding.

Grow out a section of meadow for the beneficial insects. It’ll make the ticks happy too.

The birds love it. My fields are meadows now. I bush og selectively every few years. Take out the trash scrub just leaving grasses, firs, birch and maple. No popple (poplar) ever.

Not many ticks up here. Never saw one in the house the 10 yrs we had a corgi.

    Wow, those windmills.

Lived in Westminstah 2 yrs, had a great view of Wachusett. Loved this view from Wachusett- my old digs were in this view,... those things are hideous. Feck.

  7. Caribou NWS called it a "true Alberta Clipper" in disco other day. Don't know why the other Alberta Clippers are false.

Snow beginning, looking for up to 6". All amounts are welcome.

Certainly worth tracking here though the Connecticutians huff from the tropics of New England that it doesn't count.

Wolfie you should take you own advice and log off when nothing is going on and nothing is forecast to for 14 days , there is really nothing going on for days and all you Are gonna be is frustrated and then replying to people who are complaining the winter sucks . There is literally no upside for you

I plan on doing the same as there isn’t much to talk about

Lots to talk about in NE NNE!

Wolfie has a larger scope of interest than most Connecticutians here. It's not just his north facing yard pack at stake.

Wife asked why the photo? I told her , "To tease the weenies".

    She said, "That's my job."
