Looks like another whiff in central RI.

Oh well.

I'm just trying to figure out if I should make a bread & milk run before Saturday.

Just how badly could RI get pasted by this?  I'm not sure how to balance the shifting track, the cold water weakening, and the large wind field.

There's an official NWS report of 9.5" in my area from about 2 hours ago.  The big band isn't quite here yet.

Here in RI, the local mets are pretty confident about the 8-12" range.

Well, looks like I'll finally get a direct hit here in Kent County by a big storm.

I would have preferred a blizzard, I think.  

I'm a bit lost, with two storms under discussion.  What's the prevailing opinion regarding Thursday mornings storm?  Out-to-sea?

Huh.  Looks like 3-5" hereabouts.  Good thing I don't have to drive anywhere anymore.

Local news in RI is saying 1-3" and icing down here in RI.  Do the latest models support that?

Just once, I'd like a forecast for my area that says "You're gonna get clobbered, stay home".

These measly 1-2" storms are just too irritating.

I'm starting to think these models want me to suffer.  Round one, more snow fell to my west.  Round two, more falling to the east.

Local meteos still talking 2-5" TOTAL down here in RI.  I think they are expecting bare pavement tomorrow morning due to rain.

Snow falling moderately here in RI, but not really accumulating yet.
