Is that a second wave over Fort Worth, Texas? That’s what I was thinking. I might be wrong though.
Isn't it the upper level low? I was wondering the same

While we are in a lull between models, being new to the area, I live in Mooresville. Is that considered NW Piedmont or I85 corridor. Thank you in advance!

My county, rutherford, goes from 2” to touching 24”.
Wow
.Do these high res NAMs account for sleet and freezing rain?

At this point I'd still weigh heavily on the FV3 for its amazing consistency and the Euro especially tonight's 00z run. It's king for a reason

Are we settling on the Nam now or just focused on it because it just came out?
I would highly advise to not settle on the Nam till almost game time

The convection from gulf fetch on the Texas coast looks to be happening now on WV and radar. Earlier and more than modeled
Looks juicy
Are we beginning the radar hallucinations this early? Lol jk, hope it juices up big time

I don't think they are garbage. I prefer them because they are more conservative than the outlandish global clown maps. In past events, they have been more in the ballpark than globals.
They are good. But literally only good 3-6 hours out. They will jump all over the place this far out

Noted
Pretty sure plumes are only good to follow 6 hours or so out from experience in northeast storms

The Canadian is 2" qpf most of which is snow for the NW Piedmont.
Quickly, maybe you or someone... I'm new down here, I hear piedmont a lot. I obviously know that Asheville/Boone is the mountains, what is the Piedmont, and the triad? I live in Mooresville Iredell County and it's hard for me to reference what locationa you all are referring too. Thanks everyone in advance

Lol a winter storm watch is up for Mooresville area for 3-11" that's a helluva spread

New to the forum... Is GSO Greensboro?

Will there be any issues with wind around Charlotte or surrounding suburbs north or south? Haven't seen much talk about wind

The analysis on each model run in this thread is the worst thing I've ever read on any weather site. Everyone is worried about their backyard so you get 20 different people saying it's good, it's bad, it's good, it's bad. Moderators please control this especially as we get closer
