wxnut Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 Not sure if this has already been posted elsewhere, but they've updated the BUFKIT meteograms out of Iowa State to include configurable snow:water ratios as well as including the option to account for settling effects of snowfall with compaction over time. BUFKIT generally seems to overestimate snowfall.. but the user configurability option may lead to more realistic values.
