kayman
It was creepy and ominous right when it passed over. The skies was bright blue with lightning and the rain started going sideways immediately after the eeriest portion.

ICEHOCEY77
quite a few lowerings when the first cell went through. Third one is riding a boundary, probably the most impressive of the 3.
Tigerchick224
There saying possible tornado touchdown off wade Hampton and pleasantburg drive in Greenville lot of trees down can anyone confirm?.Yes. I have had a friend confirm that the Botany Woods subdivision in Greenville County took a possible hit. Lots of downed trees and impassable roads. This area is about five minutes away from the Haywood Rd/I-385 interchange..
kayman
These training supercells are wearing me out. I'm about to go lookout for the third supercell and if it's on the ground.
SouthernNJ
So far, this is the only known radar confirmed tornado in the area. This had a TDS on it, and was just before the warning was issued. It appeared to form in the bookend portion of the outflow tail, along the back of the hook echo. This is the 9:09 PM GSP scan near Wade Hampton, just west of the radar:
kayman
There's still a hook echo over Indian Land with the third cell in the training supercells

Dunkman
That lead cell is starting to look a little suspicious again. I guess we'll see how quick of a trigger RAX has tonight.
nwohweather
Humidity has ticked up considerably through the evening. My dew point was 61° at 8 PM, has since gone up to 68°. That is feeding these storms nocturnally. Was not expecting multiple tornado warnings in Charlotte this evening, not bad for a slight risk

eyewall
So frustrating that this couldn't have been a daytime event and closer up this way. I am still looking for another solid chase day or two before summer junk season.
