  1. 1.27" from the cell over Fairfield, Easton CT.  Seemed it all happened in 20 minutes...

wind meter hit 23mph but it's in a somewhat protective red area and only 9' off ground.. seems like 40-50moh winds.

Driveway was a river as storm drain could not handle water.

  2. as an observer here i can't add anything to this discussion other than, warm and no snow means..less use of oil for heating, but concerned with Reservoir water levels should we have hot/bone dry summer again...

  3. Though the snow possibilities may be gone... is anyone concerned about the winds on Friday ahead of Christmas Eve?  I can imagine a travel clusterF, along with a boat load of $$ spent on food sitting in fridge...  of course if temps plummet one can store it outside... i did that a while ago...  but now have a 6500 Watt generator hooked up to my breaker panel...

Are you down by the beach area? I'm on the Easton line Looked like a bit less there but still impressive...

Off Fairfield Woods Road and Morehouse HWY.  I have a cheapie $10 Accurite funnel gauge, so not sure how accurate...  plus it's probably not placed in most optimal area.

About 2.5 here this morning.   2.5 last Monday/Tuesday-that might be more in the last 7 days that all of June/July/Aug

I was shocked to see my rain gauge at 1.5" here in Fairfield. 5" toatal since last week.  Hopefully Aquarion reservoirs are filling up.
