Lightning in Gardner right now.  3 times in last 10 minutes.

Flipped from rain to snow around 6am here in Gardner, roads are horrible.  They made the call to cancel school as kids were showing up.  The principals were outside telling parents as they dropped their kids off.  They're scrambling to get the kids that were already there home.

I guess we could see some huge gradients with this depending on how it plays out.  

I work in West Fitchburg @700 ft and live in Gardner @1020 ft.  The drive home on rt 2 can be wild sometimes with the elevation dependent systems.  I remember driving from pouring rain into a wall of snow a couple times.
