Ah the good ol days......When they actually predicted a huge storm in advance, and it happened.
-
Hard to measure with wind blowing but I think we got 5 inches or so here just North of Everett PA.
-
Ground white here already with moderate to heavy snow. Temp at 28.

Here’s some of the western part of that, CTP went warnings all southern tier and bumped up the advisories in the next tier to warnings. Western southern tier (Bedord/Fulton/Franklin) is 5-7 and Laurels is 6-8.
I'll take it. We only got 3 inches from the Tuesday storm so maybe this will make up for it.

I think we might be in a pretty good spot for this one. Fingers crossed
Same here. Hopefully do better than the 3 inches from last storm.
I just want to use the snow blower a few more times this year.
.WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches possible. * WHERE...Portions of central Pennsylvania.

Looks like we ended up with 3 inches here. Kinda disappointing considering we were in a WSW yesterday and at one point SC had us in the 6-8 range but this was a tricky storm to predict.

63 here lol. Working in Garage with the doors up.

Seriously. Enjoy your few days of warmth.
It will be nice to not having to listen to my furnace running 24-7 which ultimately makes my bank account get smaller.
No models needed to forcast that.

Picked up another 1.5 so we are around 4 inched here so far. Still snowing lightly.
It can stop any time now I don't want to have to get the snowblower out again.
-
2 .5 inches here so far with light snow still falling. Temp 23.

Picked up about 1.5 inches here. It has transitioned to something in between snow and sleet. I call it sneet. Didn't think we would see this with the cold temps we have right now.
-
Light flurries here too now. I see NWS SC bumped the totals up in my area.
Hoping to overperform like the storms last week did so I can play with the snow blower.

Surprised they waited this long.

As an all weather (except severe) geek, all I can say is - even without an ounce of wintry precip falling here...that is an absolute beaut of a storm. I love images like this...
Wow. Wish it would have came up the coast. Would have had the biggest snowstorm in years around my area.

Just changed to rain here after we got about 7 inches.
Ought to be quite a mess later on.

Woke up to heavy snow awhile ago. Close to 3 inches so far. Temp 32. Hope the snow holds out a few more hours before the rain washes it away.

Transitioned over to freezing rain here this evening. Temp 29. Have glaze of ice on top of the 7-8 or so inches we got total.

Hello PSU! I have a question for you. Thousands of kids are driving to State College from the DMV and surrounding areas this weekend. What is you take for State College and the surrounding areas for snowfall amounts and driving conditions Sunday?
Breezewood is almost the half way point from DC to State College and even during fall days the fog on 70 )at the upper elevations) gives almost zero visibility. I can't imagine the fog and snow combined.
Thanks for your help! I appreciate it.

I live close to Breezewood and if we get 6-10 like that Accuweather forecast is predicting you do not want to be on the Turnpike or 70 Saturday. They meet at Breezewood. If it gets bad enough the Turnpike gets shut down, and Town Hill Mountain on 70 coming up from DC gets bad. I99, that is near me too is also bad for wecks during snowstorms. Many use 99 to go to State College from here.

I broke down and summerized the snow blower yesterday.
