After about an hour of light to moderate snow, we are back to S+ in Great Falls. 

Rates have slowed a little here in Great Falls/Sterling. Now moderate snow. 

After a few dry winters, nice to have two different types of storms in just one week. 
 

I’ll take a few hours of snow like this over pixie dust on and off for 3 days like earlier this week.

And the DCA snow total seems to be not crazy under reported. That never happens

Light snow beginning again in Great Falls.

Just took a Jeb Walk. Man is it beautiful out there. Not that cold, no wind, dry fluffy powder. Trees are filled with white.  Just gorgeous. Walked up to the lake near our house to hear the water flowing with the snow glistening in the background. Amazing. Over 6 inches in Great Falls. Best rates of the storm so far were from about 6:30 to 8 am. The Columbia to Rockville deathband moved west across the Potomac.
