    The early 18Z Models question if the Seminoles are going to be penalized for wanting to leave the ACC by losing AC for a couple weeks.

    Tampa/St. Pete is going to be spared the worst, but the super Saturn Moon is going to swell the bay no matter where the storm landfalls (I would suspect Mexico Beach like Michael). The further left it goes, the stronger it becomes as it will likely crash on shore while fattening up. This is a better case than a rightward jog no matter how strong it may or may not be.

    Also, sports fans. My stepson plays Jr. High Football at a local high school up this way. They scrimmaged Punxsutawney last night. Punxsutawney has a 7th or 8th grade kicker (soccer player) who consecutively kicked off from the 40 to the end zone, and then he proceeded to crush (and when I say "crush," I mean he cleared the post with 10-15 yards to spare) field goal attempts from 35 and 40 yards.

    I didn't get a name. But I'm sending the used car salesman in State College a DM to get an eye on the second coming of Janikowski before Ohio State finds out.

    Had meetings on 3rd shift last night so I was up all night. Radar overnight was epic coming out of western PA, shocked that it fizzled on our doorstep. Picked up 0.23" here.
    You need to make the third shifters show up in the middle of the day like any other self-respecting mid-level manager would. Screw those people. Third shifters are savages.

    Every news outlet in the country has posted the Farmers Almanac forecast for the upcoming winter today. Why, in an age where forecast models and really anything more advanced than looking at squirrel turds is readily available, is this publication still given any attention?

    The Farmers Almanac is the ONLY thing related to the weather I value less than shit people use to find shadows and weather rocks.

    I did not hear about that, my bad.  I should have Googled.   But yea, he is terribly inconsistent.  Makes me feel bad watching people shake their head at him...how does he stay out there and keep doing it when people disrespect him so much. 
    He's got union protection and a paycheck to play a game. If I sucked as much ass at my job as he does and was protected by a union, I wouldn't care less what some idiot in Palookaville, MN cares about my performance.

    I actually did not even think about his name but see he is Cuban FWIW.   It is his strike zone that is on trial. 
    I'm referencing his lawsuit where he referred to MLB as racist because he wasn't given a playoff assignment because he's fuckin dog shit behind the plate.

    I just got home from my first cruise to the Bahamas. Was in Miami for a day before leaving on the boat…there and on each island we stopped at, it was like low 90s and of course tropical humidity. 105-110 heat index each day. So today here at home, this is not too bad! 
    You took a cruise to the... Bahamas... in August? You are aware January is a thing right?

    What is your summer vacation plan next year? A trip into the seventh circle of Hell?

    i'm trying to talk my brother in-law into keeping the pool open for a couple weeks into September. So i can float around and watch college football on Saturdays. 
    I wouldn't necessarily hate that. I'll compromise and say October 1st, it better start cooling off. There's few things more depressing than staring at the foliage with ball sweat ponding inside your MeUndies.

    The clouds today have a fall-like appearance to them...
    I was out over lunch and started daydreaming (still focused on driving, of course) about fall football Saturdays at Beaver Stadium coming soon.
    We haven't had the steam up here that you folks down there have, so I really haven't had a full taste of the summer. Late August is generally when I begin looking forward to fall, but I think I'm there now.

    Now watch Indian summer be a scorcher.
