roads in white plains are absolutely terrible rn
I agree. If we can minimize the snow melt when we mix and have some more snow tomorrow maybe we get to 4 or 5 in?

In white plains Wind is picking up. Mod snow. Untreated roads mostly covered. Dusting on grassy surfaces.

First flakes here in WP. Ironically enough my parents down in west palm beach are under a tornado warning !

gfs in a bit stronger than last night and keeps the fun going with some light-er snow all day sunday. lets hops the cmc and euro show something a little more amped and we find a happy middle ground. im hoping for a solid 5-6inches in white plains. i do wonder though since i've only lived down here for a year and half and experienced snow twice in this region, would y'all consider white plains a "coastal" area?
Live here too. I feel like we are the beginning of the non coastal area/ inland, but I really have no clue! I’ve wanted to know that too!

Channel 7 talking a little more aggressive with potential snow totals after latest guidance shows heavy bands, especially north and east, and possibly to the coast.
Saw that too! I’m also realizing tomorrow is the last time we will see snow until next year! So I’ll take it!

Hoping that 2hr delay turns into a closing. Heaviest snow of the storm about to push through

Heavy snow in White Plains for the last 2 hours. Everything covered. Side streets and main roads. Just hope it continues. That dry slot is making me worried.

2 inches in white plains (west Harrison)
Pretty cool how we have stayed snowing for this long as the radar all around us looks to be fading.
-
Radar filled back in a bit over the bronx. Still snowing when it feels like it shouldn’t be, by me in WP.
-
moderate snow again in white plains -
Radar almost looks like it’s converging on the NJ coast up to westchester?

Heaviest snow all day for the last 40 minutes. Grass, car tops and side streets covered here in north white plains.
