Mount Holly NJ snow prediction map updated at 3:10pm has Philly for 6-8". That's not bad.

moved to Philly burbs from Los Angeles two months before Winter Storm Jonas. Loved it. Been waiting ever since for another whopper. It's been excruciating!

why is the gfs given more credence than any other model? Just curious. No, I don't know anything. Been following the "storm" on here for a couple days and notice that what the GFS spits out seems like its more important to the board than the Euro or Canadian or NAM.

Enjoy following winter storms on this forum and the knowledge and jocularity ya'll provide. I work on the weekends so I'm really hoping for 10"+ so I don't have to drive to work Anything less than that and I will catch flak for calling in.

Nazareth, PA is reporting 35.5" which if accurate would be the biggest ever in the Valley, including 1830's storms
Awesome. We have 1/3 of that here in eastern MontCo lol. I moved here from southern Indiana in 2015. Grew up with snow and cold but we don't get 2-3 day events like this in the midwest very often. I got to experience Jonas in 2016, but been waiting for my next 2fter ever since!

the heaviest snow of the day right now lol. One helluva storm.

moderate snow here. The last hurrah...
-
went from light snow and now back to moderate snow at the moment
-
It is actually snowing fairly heavily here at the moment.
-
looks like some decent bands coming through here all morning. another couple inches today? I'll take it..
-
I think we have around 11-12” here in jenkintown.
-
-
gotta admit, its starting to kind of pile up here..

Here in Jenkintown we had probably 2” yesterday/last night and since the changeover back to snow around 1:30pm, I’d say we got another 4-5”. Steady mod snow falling and presumably will continue overnight. Plausible that we end up with what was kind of expected: 10-12”.

WSW just issued for an additional 3-6”. I’ll take it. That would put my total in the 8-12” range.
In other words, not enough snow to cancel work tomorrow but enough that the commute will still be a pain in the ass. Gimme a foot or gimme an inch. 4-7" is just pesky.

snow picking up a bit here...NWS was bullish in their latest updates so I will hold out hope yet
-
finally snowing here
-
Someone should call NWS and tell them about the sleet thing...

I’m confused...NWS just updated my area as getting 9-15” additional snow through Tuesday morning...ummmm, what?
-
Glad someone is getting at least 6”
(that’s what she said)
sry, had to...
