Highest gust at ground level here was 39mph. Kinda underwhelming tbh. Plenty of rain though.

Whole lotta nothing here as usual.

Best rain and wind combo for me since Irene. Not much lightning tho.

Yep. We live in some sort of weather dead zone. Sure we might get heavy rain now and then but very rarely anything more. The last good light show I had was July 4th.

Not expecting anything here. All the storms that seem like they might maintain their severe status either fall apart completely by the time they reach Providence or miss us entirely.

Hope you all have fun with the severe stuff. Not gonna get anything besides some rain here as usual.

So am I the only one crazy enough to intentionally want to go outside just to experience such cold in person?

Only a little bit of a breeze here right now, and the power has been on all day. Is it supposed to ramp up again?

Watch October and November be hyper active this year. :p

So what are the chances of any severe storms maintaining their strength until they reach my area?

Power is out here. My weather station said our highest wind gust was 22mph but its a super cheap one so who knows how accurate it is.

So it just started raining so hard I actually thought it was hailing at first. Hell it still might be. It happened so fast to.

That must be the one that just passed over me. I dont think I’ve ever seen it rain so hard since moving into this house. And the amount of nearby CG strikes was impressive.

Bob happened a year before I was born. The last significant tropical conditions I recall were from Irene in 2011 and even that storm made landfall 2 states over. Lost power for 3 days.

This wont be nearly as strong as that, but it will still be entertaining. 

For the first time i can remember the center of the cone goes directly over me. This is going to be interesting/fun.

I think the skyline in Providence effects the strength of any would-be storms at my house. :/

Got a severe thunderstorm watch here now

I just realized I got 1.58 in of rain here on tuesday, all from that one storm. That never happens. lol
