As of today, the only places in the entire country that have gone longer than us without a winter storm warning are as follows.....
San Francisco, Lubbock,(Which surprises me as they got a foot of snow this season in 1 sitting...) and Lake Charles.
 
I'm excluding Southern Florida and Puerto Rico as those places have never had a winter storm warning issued.
Truly proof we are just in some very statistically unfortunate time period for us snow lovers.
 

I'm thinking this "storm" moving into STL region tonight might bust bad thru the metro area as far as snowfall.

This storm in STL this weekend is nowhere near as clear cut as this past storm. Alot of bust potential! Every model was is pretty good agreement for the last one. This one not so much. Classic STL storm coming up. Rain to snow or rain to......nothing. lol

So sorry for you guys down there. Believe me we've been down that road many times here in Saint Louis. We are finally getting our due! Hope this active pattern we are all in hits you plenty before Spring hits.

So far the storm of interest late week looks good on most models for the STL area. We are all getting excited but not going on in yet.

Ya things don't look as good as they did a week or so ago for the Holidays as far as cold. Active pattern still looks decent.

Kinda sucks when you want snow for Christmas.

If only the NAM could be trusted from this far out.....

Welcome aboard.  This is the only board I follow.  Lots of great people here.  
GFS run was great.  Canadian cuts up to the NE.  Couldn’t be more polar opposite from each other.  Nothing else that I see supports the Canadian track at this time.  

Does this board cover folks from all over? Or do u guys live in one particular area?

Hello, I'm new to this board. I love in Troy, MO. I follow another board locally. But I noticed that some of those board members are also joined this one. Figured it can't hurt for us weather enthusiasts!

We have also been following this weekend's storm although we believe it will be south of STL MO at this time. Still plenty of time for it to come north though.
